ic// Soft ushers of roaring thunder plagued the open plains at the time of evening. Sun no longer in view as deep krept clouds scored over the earth, demolishing any hopes of sunlight to reach the surface. The signs of an on coming storm were not only made obvious by the clouds, but the sleak blue and white streaks of plasma that flickered violently through the heavens, leaping about in their playful horrors. Strict gales brushed the yellow grass of the plains that rest within the land, ones that built the savahha abruptly.
The faint sound of a crackling twig could barely be heard through the sounds of the beast within the atmosphere. A feline paw was sent into a spreading appearance as the pads could not hold a steady grip along the surface. Muscles within the ankles were sent into a tense posture as they ran up thick legs, connecting to an intense figure of sable. Hardly seen as the darkness grew around, the frame of a feline came to be seen as lightning above slipped through the clouds, silhoutte found out by striking hues of maroon. Clean fur was sent into a frenzy by a fresh gust of wind, brushing through the auric pelt to cause it to rise in a dominant poise.
The figure paused, her small frame turning to the left as golden iris tossed their gaze in the same directing, mirroring the images that surrounded their features. The plasma strikes didn't make the lioness show fear, except, it made her stand proud like she can withstand the oncoming storm. The gusts picked up, her face wrinkling at the weather. Her nose soon shivered at the sensation on the cold water of the Kanzhir stream, a pink tongue lapping up the liquid. Her firm body tensed at each cracking noise from the heavens as they spread their rath throughout the lands.
"Hphm. Like I did anything wrong."

There's somethin' 'bout the way
The violet and emerald clouds seemed to fight over each other as they raced across the sky, tumbling and swirling above the huntresses’ heads as they sat in a small circle. Promise looked to the heavens as a fat drop of moisture made contact with the fur on her tiara, she shivered slightly, the temperature had dropped suddenly. The rain had given leave for a while, but seemed to be returning with a vengeance, the electric shocks were clearly visible in the distance. She yawned stretching forepaws out in front of her, her tongue hanging from her jaws briefly, her back arching before standing.
The street looks when it's just rained
The ‘ess began a steady lop towards the stream that she had seen her adopted sister head off to, the storm was brewing and nearing. Promise did not quite like the fact that she had to go and collect her sister like this; she knew that Lisha could fend for herself, even at the worst of times. The huntress would never forgive herself if anything happened to the lioness that was like a sister to her though, and so here she was off searching for her. The grass looked like waves in an ocean during an awful storm, enough to tear even the strongest of ships to shreds in it’s wake. The huntress growled to herself as she saw Lisha standing there facing the clouds as if challenging them the fool, she couldn’t face a storm like this in the open. The clouds opened above them, letting a waterfall open up upon the two felines tiara’s, drenching them instantly.
There's a glow off the pavement
Promise carried on the few paces until she knew she was in the other huntress’ sight, the mud screwed itself up under her claws. The feline stopped in time to here the question that seemed to be posed to anyone to answer, 'You are out here trying to face down a storm for starters,' Promise growled sarcastically at her. She came closer, 'Were you seriosuly going to stay out here? Are you blind?' the huntress growled again her tone turning angry. The feline circled around her sister untill she faced her front, she was angry that's for sure, her gems glared out from their sockets. Her sister had put herself in danger by not looking for cover, and therefor had put Promise introuble as well, this would not go over well.

ic// The thunder groaned aarkly at her, hissing and seething as its winds whipped at her pelt in violence that grasped only the deepest reaches of a lion's mind. Cat ears twisted to the left and then to the right, auric eyes scanning the area in impudence. Soon her gaze rose above, the rain drops falling quickly upon Lisha's head, her nose wrinkling once again. Oh how she hates getting water on her golden pelt.
Feline ears perked up instantly when the soft steps of Promise were heard, the sister's eerie figure appearing right before her glare. The huntress snorted at her sibiling's remark, his sarcastic tone angering Lisha. "It seems that I am blind, sister," her voice getting cocky near the end, her tail flickering the buzzing pests away. To think they would run for cover in this rain, but no. They decided to bother the most fearsome creatures on the savannah.
Now fully drenched with Promise in front of her face, the easily-angered lioness snorted again at the responsible huntress. The plasma streaks flashed through the rainy heavens again, a loud cracking noise coming a few seconds after to frighten anything below its rath. Lisha jumped slightly, a cough emitted from her throat to cover up that incident. Clearing her throat before speaking, her eyes finally made contact with her sister's topaz optics. "I guess we should take cover." She regretted saying those words, but the raging storm has finally got her fearing.

And you know I wanna ask you to dance right there
Streaks of platinum continued to break the darkened sky above their heads as they quarreled, lighting the plains for mere seconds before fading away. Promise restrained herself from leaping at her sister’s words; it took so much effort that her muscles quivered and a shiver ran down her spine. The two were not biological sisters, far from it, but Promise had been adopted into the litter when her parents had abandoned the pride. Lisha knew better then to point that out black and white, but she often tormented the other huntress with her tone, implying that she herself had parents who stayed with her but Promise did not. Digging her claws into the muddy soil she closed her lids over her gems, sickened that someone who was supposed to care for her found pleasure in hurting her like this. ’Blind or not, I am forced time and time again to act as your keeper’ Promise couldn’t keep the bite from her tone. She knew this would hit home, everyone always remarked on how responsible Promise was, and would comment on how Lisha should work to be more like that.
In the middle of the parking lot
When a bolt struck the ground with a crackle Promise merely turned her tiara to see how close it was to the pair. She didn’t turn her head fast enough to completely miss her sisters jump, ’So the fearsome huntress who could face down storm clouds is afraid of a little lightning?’ Promise jeered circling her companion. The two often fought like this they didn’t despise each other, but it was like vanilla and chocolate, black and white, they were opposites and their opinions and personalities often clashed radically. The ‘ess finally made her way in a full circle pausing at her sisters front once more, their gems locked instantly and Promise could smell her sister weakening. At Lisha’s words the huntress smirked triumphantly, ’The pride is resting to far off, we’ll have to find somewhere else,’ Promise informed her.
We're drivin' down the road
Wind rippled the soaked pelt of the larger lioness, Promise was almost an entire foot taller then her sister. She set out, mud fixing itself into the cracks in her paws and under her nails, the huntress growled softly to herself. The slippery substance underneath them made walking uncomfortable, and she could see a flood might be brewing if the storm continued for a long period of time. The storm itself seemed to be angered by her thoughts of warmth and dryness and the wind picked up, the rain pounding into the pair as if it was bullets from the sky instead of droplets of moisture. Promise started to run, letting her limps fling out and she would fly for a few seconds before returning back to the ground in an endless rhythm.
I wonder if you know

ic// Sleek blue and white streaks of plasma striked the skies with a fiery wrath, the lioness lowering her stature as in attempt to hide from the storm. Her golden tirara avoided eye contact with her sister as she acted responsible of Lisha's safety, a pink tongue sticking out as she was an immature cub willing to be a rebel. "Promise, you know you could just leave me out here. It's my responsibility to take care of myself." She was stupid to think that she had the ability to watch herself. She was the irresponsible one of the sisters, blood-related or not, willing to lead herself, not follow her intelligence or other felines.
Her balance was easily stood out from under the lion's paws, her body hitting the ground with an 'ophm.' Yellow eyes stared at the dark burned spot of where the lightening hit, her body trembling. Her dry throat swallowed hard, her body lifting after a few seconds of fear. Her head sharply turned at Promise's words, her ears pressed down on her feline skull. She couldn't think of anything to say back. Damn.
"Yes," she said in regret, eyes grazing her sister as she circled. Her head rose back up as she mention the pride was a bit to far, a growl heard from her throat. Damn again. Now they have to find a place that might be safe. Her mind wondered off as her sister flew off, the feline snapping back. "Hey! Wait up!" Her muscular legs propelled her body forward as she managed to be a few feet behind Promise.

I'm tryin' so hard not to get caught up now
Past tense, before they depart
But you're just so cool
Promise didn’t find Lisha’s immature actions humorous in anyway, she merely growled and shook her skull slowly. ’Lisha just because I could leave you out here, doesn’t mean I should or would,’ she explained slowly, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Her sister could be very thick headed sometimes, and like Promise was overly stubborn which meant their conflicts were normally rather heated. The storm raged more by every moment that passed and they were wasting time, Promise was becoming anxious and shifted her weight, she knew they would be leaving as the lightning frightened her sister, just how soon she did not know.
Run your hands through your hair
The ‘ess couldn’t help when a chuckle escaped from her powerful jaws when her sister fell to the ground with shock. Her topaz gems followed her sisters to the spot where the lightening had greeted the earth, the grass now lay blackened and almost non-existent. The regret in Lisha’s tone did not escape Promise’s hearing, and a smirk fell upon her features, her sister seemed tongue tied and without other response, and of course Promise would have known if her sister was lying.
Absent mindedly makin' me want you
Present Tense
And I don't know how it gets better than this
Promise may be larger then Lisha but Lisha was faster, it was how the hunting pack worked, the fastest lionesses herded the animal back to the largest, who lay in wait. Promise was usually the one who lay in wait for the frightened animal to make it’s way, and with perfect timing she would leap bringing the meal down with her. Soon Lisha had passed her sister, but Promise hardly noticed or tried to pass her as she normally would have, her gems were scanning the plains that flew by, searching for some sort of area that could be safe. Worry creeped up in her, filling her limbs, pushing her on even though they were growing sleepy as they did when it rained, all mammals felt it, the sleepiness to show that they should give in and be safe if they lay still enough. She pushed on, her gems found nothing but open plains, they had to get out soon and all that was ahead was tiger territory, but Promise saw no other choice, it was up to Lisha’s gems to pick up anything different.

ic// Lisha's golden tiara shook as she heard those words, still not understanding why her stubborn sister wouldn't just leave her out in the rain. Though it maybe sisterly instinct to protect a sibling from terrible dangers, such as this storm, but to Lisha, Promise seemed like the type who would shrug off the rebellious, immature lioness. Her ears flatten while the winds perked up, the rain drenching her and her step-sister's pelt, gems flying around, still thinking about her past thoughts.
Picking up her speed, small, but muscular legs helped her reach up to the Promise's shoulder blades, her lips revealing a smirk. Though her sister could take a large water buffalo down by herself, Lisha could brag about taking down three(regular sizes) in one day. With the speed the feline has, she uses her strategic ideas of how to tire out the beasts, waiting for the right time to strike the jugular. 'Brawns over brains never work.' she thought, nails digging into the muddy earth as her body became more agile.
Oh! It may seem that Lisha found something that caught her pools of gold. But to Promise's interests, it wasn't what she wanted her idiot-of-a-sister to find and do. The feline bolted off from catching a glimpse of brown pelt which belong to a small prey, an antelope. This prey ran right into tiger territory and with Lisha having brains, she would have quickly gave up the chase. Nah. The cat ran right into the foliage of rainforest.
Idiot.

Fearless
Promise saw the prey from the corner of her gems, just a quarter of a second before her sister did. Suddenly the feline beside her was off, Promise changed her course instead of following her sister who was running in a zig-zag fashion after the smaller creature, Promise ran straight hoping to head them off. The creatures disappeared into the jungle about 10 feet away from the huntress and Promise felt a growl building.
And I don't know why but with you I'd dance
This wouldn't end well, she just hoped that the tigers were deep within the jungle, Promise's gems quickly raked the area. Her sister was nowhere to be found, she spotted a pair of tracks and prayed to god that they lead to the lioness. Following slowly after the feline paws left in the muddy earth, Promise set out, her ears alert her mind running fast. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest, when a branch cracked somewhere up ahead Promise quickened her pace.
In a storm in my best dress
The faster she could find her sister the faster they could get out of here, the 'ess would rather face the rage of the storm then a couple of tigers. Promise wasn't the most skilled fighter you see, she didn't practice like some of the other females in the pride did. Her pelt was almost clean of scars, except for a few scars on the insides of her legs from unting horned animals. Her voice quiet, almost afraid to call out Promise called, 'Lisha? Lisha! get back here, this isn't funny,' she growled.
Fearless

Ic// Her panting became heavier as the lioness finally noticed where she had ran into, her eyes scanning every part of land to look around for an exit from the dense forest. What makes matters worst, she was alone and didn't have her sister to protect the small lion. Lisha wasn't known for fighting, she was rather known as using her powerful legs as a speedy getaway from any brawls or troubles. And in this predicament, she was in trouble, except she wasn't able to bolt through the foliage since any moment she could stumble upon a tiger.
Her paws sank comfortably into the forest dirt, her toes wriggling in the soft mud with content. No wonder why tigers reside in this area. Its like a bed wherever you drop. "Wait. Don't get distracted! Must get out before a tiger finds me," she ordered herself, Lisha's body moving her forward. Her appendages perked forward evertime she heard a slight noise, body tensing up every second that happened.
'Lisha? Lisha! get back here, this isn't funny' Her heartbeat picked up joy when she heard her sisters familiar voice, a smirk appearing on her lips. Of course, now that she's near her step-sis, she was going to do something immature. Agile body curved around the trees till she was only a few meters away from the ess', claws perking out from her toes, digging into the trunk of the tree. She shifted her body to grab a hold with all four paws, bounding up the trunk with ease. Steady, she hovered over her sister after crawling to other tree branches, her teeth gleaming out from her lips. As she was about to roar to scare her sister, she lost her grip and fell with a 'thud' on her side, staring with winced gems at her sister. "That didn't work to well."[/blockquote] OoC// Sorry for a long delay. Holidays made me lose track of time. ^^-

So baby drive slow
Promise listened for a moment after her call but heard nothing, she was about to keep moving following the tracks of whoever it was then she heard a thud. Spinning around, her claws out at the ready, fangs bared Promise felt a dangerous growl rip through her through and scream through her teeth. The 'ess eas about to throw herself at the stranger when she heard the voice, her gems raked the area over thouroughly before relaxing.
'Til we run out of road in this one horse town
Just because she wasn't going to rip her sister to threads with her claws didn't mean that she wasn't about to verbally abuse her. Her fangs still bared she hissed, 'You idiot! Do you realize how close I was to ripping you apart?' She walked right by her, the light mist that came through the canopy of leaves above them had made their prints disappear, they were lost without a trail.
I wanna stay right here in this passenger's seat
The more responible lion was so into her rage that she didn't even care, or stop to think about it. She kept walking not caring if she was headed deeper into the jungle or not, she was absolutly fuming. Promise kept up a good stream of cusses as she walked, She didn't notice if her sister followed or not. If a tiger was to jump out infront of her, Promise would maul it without a second thought, she would enjoy it, because that's exactly what she wanted to do to her moron of a sister.

ic// Her ribs ached from that fall, but she deserved it by how the lioness scared her sister shitless. She couldn't help and let out a series of laughter and snorts, paws whacking at the air as she rolled on her back. Gems teared up, a few filling the corner of her eyes, only to overflow after filling up and repeating the same process. It only took her a few minutes to come to her senses and stop laughing, but only a faint giggle was heard here and there.
Her sister's words didn't make Lisha phase, knowing that she wouldn't hurt her with all her might. Yeah her step-sister could have injuried her, but to the point she'll be unable to walk. Without others knowing, the ess' did know Promise pretty well and took advantage of it at times.
"At least I wasn't a big ol'e tiger ready to gobble you up. Think my suprise as a gift of not being attacked," she smirked, attempting to make Promise to not be as furious after the lioness frighten her. Some words can calm her down, but it only matters what Lisha says, and that female had no way with words. "I was close in catching that antelope before. If it only haven't ran into this forest, I could have got its neck, tasting its blood now," she smacked her lips, following behind her sis' path. She soon enough got her playful side out, stepping into very paw print of Promise's she could see in the mist, trying to make the challenge for her fun.

In this moment now capture it, remember it
Promise snorted, not even stopping she kept going her claws still bared and ready her gems stayed locked forward. She knew that if she let them flicker she would turn and rip her sister apart, it was true...she had a temper problem. Normally she wasn't this bad, and Lisha should've realized now wasn't the time for jokes, this was the worst she'd been in a long time. The last time was when her parents left her, and then she had ran not coming back for weeks, slaughtering prey and then letting them rot, not eating.
Cause I don't know how it gets better than this
She crinkled her nose at the very scent of the jungle, she knew that it was the a very rich terrain. But she also knew why, so many plants and animals decomposing made the earth rich with bugs, the trees grew well. At her sisters words she snorted, 'I'd rather you were a tiger, then I wouldn't feel guilty if I tore you apart,' she spat out through her teeth. She quickened her pace hoping to loose the other 'ess, but to her disappontment her sister stayed behind.
You take my hand and drag me head first
Suddenly she whirled around, 'If you had any self control, we wouldn't be here you didn't need that damn antelope!' she snarled. Next thing she knew, her feet were no longer planted on the ground, but flying through the air. Instead of letting herself drop she felt her blood rush happily for the upcoming fight, she let a hiss fling through her barred teeth. Her claws flung out of the pads of her feet, she didn't want to kill her sister, only teach her a lesson, so she aimed for her shoulder. If she was aimed right she would hit her enough to knock her sister balance off, throwing them both to the ground, Promise on top.

Soraya was here, waiting on the prey he knew wouldn't come. Laying sullenly on the grass, her now emaciated frame rose and fell with the tigress's breathing. Eyes closed and stayed close, as Soraya lay motionless. She was thinking about how she shouldn't be planning a hunt when she was so tired and how she should just... Soon enough she was asleep, completely, depleted by a lack of sleep and energy in the last few days. Her breathing was heaving as she lurked in a dizzy torpor.
But the starved female was brought to her senses a mere hour later, as the sound of paws nearby pulled her from her sleep. Rather disgruntled, she shifted, then her head bolted up. Wha?? Paws? Curious, but not dumb enough to emerge from the healthy grasses, the female looked through the emerald blades, but saw nothing. Slowly she did rise from the grass, and her eyes locked onto a golden-hued form. As she looked further away, she noticed another lion. A pair of gold-pelted menaces? Oh joy! Ohjoyohjoyohjoy!
Looking at the sky she noticed the aphotic of the clouds and came to the realisation that a lot of rain was coming. Good- rain meant she could stalk the lost felines better. More interfering sound, so they couldn't hear her. But she wasn't dumb nor arrogant enough to think she should attack now. If there were more, things would be too dangerous for her to attack, after all, she had left her sister behind to stay safe deeper in the forest. Exhaling impatiently, the female looked about. Gentle rain landed on the earth in front of her. Good. Rain also disguised scents.
The two were being a bit louder than expected. Her fur bristled and a tongue lolled from her mouth, dragging along her lips. She didn't look at the pair as they tumbled, but instead kept her amber gaze on the skies above. Fur bristling, she finally watched the young lionesses. The young felines that could very likely cause near fatal wounds. But Soraya was going to die anyway if she didn't eat. Now she had her sister to. She couldn't let her sister starve either.
Still refraining from moving, but hearing them speak, she growled lowly.
One.
Two.
Three
The female sprung into action almost immediately, racing across the emerald blades. She leapt into the air, drawing closer to the pair, she began to run. She could only hope the pair weren't paying attention.

ic// The plasma streaks weren't as visable as before, but the striking flash of lights still were able to penatrate through those thick canopies. The rain even grew harder from before, but the tree tops did cover thoses, only dripping less than how much it was doing out in the open prairie. Her pelt was drench though, so the foliage didn't do much to keep Lisha well kepted on her fur. But, the lioness was willing to get it dirty by how hard she was stepping into the muddy soil, splashing it around the two. She somehow did manage to miss Promise the whole time, but the female's paws and up to her mind legs were covered with the muddy, forest dirt.
Ears perked at her sister's snort, gems rolling at her words. Phhft. Either way, she wouldn't feel guilt. Lisha was soon enough up to her nerves by the way Promise face the step-sister, the tone of her's diggin into her skull, but that wasn't the only thing digging into her. Blood was soon spilt, but only small drops fell on the floor, body jerking back. The angered lioness' claws were seem to be impaling her, but not deep because Lisha was able to dodge most of the impact. It still sent her down with her sis ontop.
The pressure form her sister's weight made it harder to breath through her lungs, her breathe growing ragged and haorse. "Get the hell off me, Promise! We don't have time for this! What if a tiger com-" Her voice lowered as her gems were diverted from her angry sister's to the figure running towards them, Lisha's mind still blurry from the previous knock down. The colors from reddish-orange were still able to be seen luckly, one word heard from the younger lion.
"Fuck."

And I don't know why but with you I'd dance
Promise felt her claws sink into flesh and the warmth of her sisters liquid life spreading under the pads of her paws. She felt a slow grin spread across her face and she sank her nails deeper into the skin, why she had such an aversion to fighting she suddenly didn't know. She wasn't trying, and she didn't have a clue what she was doing but....she was good. Promise tried to roll them , so that her claws had a better grip instead of this sideways slide she was on. Her claws threatened to just rip through the thin skin instead of holding her grip, and the lioness shoved with all her weight, attempting to keep her sister still.
In a storm in my best dress
Lisha's words made Promise bark out a laugh, the force shaking her off of her sister, into the mud. 'Wait....wait your telling me that something I'm doing is putting us in trouble! and is childish,' the 'ess growled sarcastically. The laughter shook her form as she lay on the ground, unable to stand due to the hysteria that had taken over her. Her ribs soon began to ache as she gasped for breath, trying to claim control over herself once more. Drops of moisture formed around the edges of her gems, she finally began to claim herself once more. The shaking laughs turned into unconnected fits of giggles, really it wasn't that funny, but there was no telling Promise that as she rolled about on the earth.
Fearless
Hearing her sisters cuss Promise's head snapped up, the giggles suddenly silenced, her sister actually sounded worried. Her sister was never worried, her gems locked on her sister's face and then followed her gaze. Although slightly blurred from leftover tears, the bright orange creature coming for them was obvious. Suddenly the large lioness was on her feet, her body close to the ground, her muscles flexed, ready to spring. The snarl that ripped from her throat made all her others look like a kittens meow, and truth be told she finally looked like the lethal cat she was. 'Lisha, get out of here,' she growled, her tone left no questions to be asked, it was an order and her sister would follow if she knew what was good for her. Promise was ready to spring the second that the tigeress pounced, ready to attempt to sacrafice herself to save her small sister, her tail flicked with rage, her sight was tinted crimson in rage. Her claws dug into the ground as she waited, waited to know the tigeress's next move, wiated for anything.....something.
