ic// Her face wrinkled at the pain her sister was inflicting on each side of her shoulders, a grunt only being heard from her throat. Promise wasn't the lightest thing on earth, and she happens to be on top of the lioness, who is easily spotted as the smallest amongst the Yahar pride. As her claws raked her sides, she felt the small insicions bleeding, not as much as her first wound, but enough to make her head feel a bit dizzy. The blood loss was not much at all, but Lisha was horrible with the smell of her own blood for some reason, a reason still unknown as of now. Pressure from her shaking brought her deeper into the mud of the foilage, her golden gems having trouble keeping up at her sister's actions and the blurry, seem to be a tiger, figure coming towards the squabble.
She hoped her word would get her attention right away, but she noticed her sister was being sarcastic from Lisha's earlier comment. 'Damn.. she's not listening...' was all the lioness could think of, her mind focusing more on the danger, but returned soon after the female started to laugh. 'Why the hell is she laughing?! Didn't she caught my attention. Damn again... ' Her thoughts swirled in mass chaos as her brain lost connection to the real world for a few seconds. Her stomach soon got nauseated from the sudden rush of blood to her brain, her stance being wobbly at first. Being underneath her heavy sis isn't easy to regain balance ASAP, but in this case, she had to shake her head quickly to regain vision and power to defend herself against the Tiger's ambush.
The streaks of lightening snapped her vision from under her, only to reopen to spot Promise quick and ready stance, her muscles visible to her gems. She copied her form, feline teeth baring with wrinkled lips and a scrunched up nose, her body tensing from each clash of thunder. Her ears quickly shot up from her sister's words, her face holding a confused look. "What? Wait.. NO! I wanna stay here and help. You do have the strength, but so does the tiger. I have speed that can tired the beast out! Watch!" she replied back, running in front of her sister and straight on towards the tigeress. She simply skidded to a stop, claws digging into the earth to at least stop sliding, her rear facing the tiger. "Nahda, nahda, nah, nuh! You can't catch me!" she teased, shaking her butt and sticking a tongue out before she sprinted off.

Shallow, rapid breaths were drawn from her chest, and her muscles quivered. Her claws tore into the grass, leaving small piles of dirt behind where her paws had come in contact with the earthy floor. Her tail counter-balanced her body. Then, the obvious older of the two lionesses shouted out. Sacrifice? This amused Soraya. But the younger one protesting made her skid to a stop in slight confusement. At that moment, every detail about the female was deadly still.
She awaited the pair to dare to come at her, and to fall one by one, but Soraya, and all the others of her species who knew about lions, knew that wouldn't happen. That was the thing about lions... they had a determination to live. Much like Soraya.
A teasing note left the younger female, and Soraya growled vehemently, ears pinned back against her head and muscles tensing immensely. As the small menace pounced off, the striped feline quickly judged her to be the first to fall. Letting out a few rage-fueled snarls, the tigress's muscles tensed and then released energy to send her after the younger one. In a few short bounds, she had caught up.
"Stop playing games, little lion." she hissed.

ooc. so basically I got tired of Promise having an english name....so I translated "Promise" into african and got "Basha" so that is her new name
My hands shake
Basha's tempered flared dangerously at her sister's defiance, she wanted to turn and knock some sense into her, but she knew better. She knew that the tiger would take advantage at any distraction so she held her stance firmly. 'Go.Back.To.The.Pride.NOW,' Her voice raised raggedly at the end, the tone warning both of them now was not a time to mess with her. But of course, Lisha's head was to thick to undertsand the danger, and turned it into a game, Basha hissed under her breath. Great, now not only do I have to fight the tiger and distract her, I have to save my sister's ass to Her thoughts whipped venomously inside her skull.
I'm not usually this way but
Basha lept at the giant figure infront of her a moment too late, she sailed past as the tiger took off in chase. Instead of letting this distract her she meerly pounced off the ground when her feet made contact, following after them. The beast's muscles visibly bunched as she prepared to pounce on Basha's sister, it was as if someone poured fire into the large lioness' veins. Her paws barely touched the ground as she sprinted, soon catching up to them, she didn't even think as she jumped.
You pull me in and I'm a little more brave
Her aim was for the tigers hindquarters, hoping to knock her from the air and into the brush distracting her long enough for her sister to flee. A feline growl left her lips and her claws beared themselves, ready for any sort of impact that might follow. Basha knew that living was barely a possibilty, except that this tigress looked like she haden't eaten recently. Which could be a downfall or an advantage, the tigress might fight only to use the lioness as food afterwards, Basha shuddered at the thought.
It's a first kiss,
&& Baby I'm F E A R L E S S

ic// The slush of water and dirt mixed underneath Lisha's paw, creating it a problem for her claws to dig into the earth for some grip. Her speed slowed down from that situation, but her muscles still pumped blood vigorously through her heart to maintain a steady sprint. But, because of the extra effort, those thick slabs of meat inside her legs felt a burning sensation. They were growing ragged and tired at the wrong time.
Those golden gems of her stared to her side, right into the tigress's own. She felt her heart skip a beat, but it seem it wasn't pumping anymore. Fear crept over her face, the once smiling lips now to a unreadable expression. The hissed words made a chill run up her spine, the lioness desperately thinking of an idea of how to escape the predator's easily attainable grasp. Nope. Nothing came up.
Her pools tightly shut as she began to sprint more, but nares caught her sister, Basha's, scent. She skidded to a stop, watching the larger lioness aim for the tiger's hindquarters, a glimpse of hope spreading on her once expressionless face. Her pelt slicked on some mud as she bent over behind a large tree root, the once she jumped over just seconds ago, trying to hide her body, which was obvious to eyes from the rump sticking up.
ooc// SO SMALL!

As she had sprinted, Soraya hadn't expected the attack from behind. Swift legs carried her ever forward, muscles pumping adrenaline through her veins. But as soon as she thought this little lioness would be dead meat in her jaws, the tigress felt a quick blow to her hinds. It definitely knocked her off balance, and she stumbled, finally landing on her side and rolling a few more times before her body finally ceased movement. Snarling the most deadly snarl she could muster up, Soraya pushed herself up with her front limbs.
Mist seemed to fall from her open lips as her ivory-hued teeth gleamed. The mud stuck all over her pelt, but at least the rain on the ground softened the impact. She wasn't too stunned. And the large feline rose to all fours again, head low and tail swishing. Her amber eyes drifted to the idiotic one hiding behind the tree root, her rump out in the open where anyone could spot her where abouts, over to the one who dared to knock her off balance.
"You've made a grave mistake wandering into this sanctuary." Soraya growled lowly. The wind carried a scent on it, the scent of her own kin. Not only was it of her own species, it was of her blood. Anala had found her? This would help her. Growling again, Soraya stalked forward and began a semi-circle around Basha. As she neared her left side, the tigress canted upwards and lunged, swinging her massive arm towards her head. Whether or not it connected, Soraya recoiled and crouched low, ears pinned back against her skull.
A few leaves tumbled from above, and then Soraya caught sight of a familiar form. Lips curling into a smirk, she took another leap towards the lioness, awaiting her sister's aid as well.

Anala had inspected the entire situation, perched up in that tree of hers. Slinking down to the next branch, she watched her sister jump up after that blow that sent her to the ground. And that dim-witted lioness didn't do well to hide herself while Soraya was busy. Anala pulled back her lips, growling almost in silence. How DARE they threaten her sister! Her muscles tensed underneath that marvelous coat of hers, and Anala studied the one Soraya began to circle.
She had been the one to hurt her. That lioness had better make a death wish, there was no way she was escaping alive. If she had, that would spell trouble. She'd return to the pride, telling them of her encounter, and that'd lead to confrontations between the species. Once Soraya had looked up to see her, she had pounced, and Anala saw her cue.
Rearing back, she pushed off the trunk with her hinds, wheeling down behind Basha with the least grace, and she let out a threatening roar of sorts.
