HISTORY
Family Background: Mother and father both rovers. Raised by mother alone.
Parents: Whereabouts Unknown
Sibling: Heja (brother; whereabouts unknown), Basin (sister; deceased);
Cubs: None
Relationship: Open
Past: Raised solely by her mother, she and her siblings did not live in the blissful ignorance other cubs enjoyed in the safety of a pride. Constantly on the move the small family followed the movements of herds. The cubs grew strong quickly gaining great amounts of stamina, however as the cubs grew their mother became more malnourished. Struggling to keep them all fed, she often left her cubs hidden during the day. This was not always very successful, the best example being when Kalu’s sister Baisn fell prey to a leopard. This was a harsh lesson but one well learned. Upon reaching the year of one both Kalu and her brother Heja where chased off by their mother. The siblings followed each other around for another year until Hejas urges to find his own territory led him to abandon his sister. She never truly understood why he left but she suddenly found herself very alone in the vast savannah. Adapting quickly, Kalu became a specialist in the solo hunt and began to truly enjoy her freedom. She basked in her independence and glory until the arrival of her third year; she no longer enjoyed the introverted lifestyle and longed for companionship. However she fears her ability to adapt to a pride lifestyle. Meandering from land to land she has found herself in the Yahar territory. Will she be able to let go of her wandering and settle? Or will her story end with an attempt at a new life?
