Magic
Anarakhi has gotten itself a brand new addition - magic! When it comes to magic, there are two Grand Masters; Anuk, the mikashi, and ___, the yeon. They are the origins of all the magical energy, and they brought the new air into the world. They are indestructible, immortal and very, very old. They are the only beings able to consciously give their power to another character, and very rarely will they do so. The only way to get a power is to get it from your parents (in which case it may lie dormant until it is bought from the KLP shop, or it is automatically active), taste it in the air and have your body mutated into withstanding the change in air molecules, or being given a power from the Masters.
Powers vary from cat to cat, and is never once the same. Though there are a few main categories of magic, each cat has it's own unique level. Some are naturally strong, whilst others must work hard and practice to be able to fully control their power. Some have a limit as to how far they can go, and can only reach certain levels of that power. Some can hold more than one power, whilst others have a great difficulty with a small piece of one.
Inexperienced cats, or characters who don't know about their powers may accidentally let off some form of magic. These Magic Spasms tend to be stronger than the attacks which are planned and aimed.
Mikashi are the primary 'owners' of their powers, having individuals with their own unique, un-recorded magical abilities. Yeon, too, are strong holders of power, but due to their small population, they tend to have much stronger control and flexibility. Tigers and lions, for the most part, are unable to use the air to change it into magic. However, a few rare have found a way into using it, and have even made powers out of the range of the common categories. It is thought that categories are given with each species, and all big cats have different categories that they tend to abide by.
