Winter
Winter is the time of yeon - it is the only time of year in which the economically powerful mikashi fall, and struggle in this world so harsh. Snow falls meters high, cold and crunchy. The few tigers that may still live are the only other cats able to survive freely in this weather. The lions and mikashi must feed their children as much as possible, and lay in sleep close as possible. Gusts of wind can travel as fast as 50 mph, temperature reaching as low as -30○C.
Spring
Snow begins to melt, flowers begin to bloom. Mikashi and lions can come out of their scarce agenda and begin to hunt again properly, whilst yeon are slowly getting hotter and hotter as the temperatures rise to 20○C. Cubs arrive, and old ones go - it's the time of new life, green grass slowly poking out from the snowy blanket of the ground.
Summer
Summer time! The sun is out almost constantly, the days are scorching hot and it's practically impossible to find enough water to keep the cats hydrated - butr it's the time of year in which lions and mikashi strive, and in which yeoni have problems keeping themselves under control, what with the heatwave and whatnot. Temperature can reach heights of 50○C, and the grass on the plains shrivel up into yellow hay.
Autumn
And then it all dies down again - those new, green leaves are beginning to turn brown, red, orange and auburn, falling off the branches, drying on the floor and being crunched underfoot of a feline. It slowly gets colder, rushing down to 20, then 13, then 4○C, until those snowflakes start to fall from above.
