She entered the lands where the Jakinj resigned at. She was searching for mate. Someone who would love her. She never really had any family. All her family that she even knew about were dead. The closet thing she had was her mom and she died by a pochers gun. She never really experienced a family. She loved cubs and she would die for them if she had them. She was hopping to find a strong muscular male with a big mane. She was really attracted to albino lions. But she would settle for a plain lion any day. She went over to the Jakinj. The river was small do to the dry season. Luckily there were no crocks in this part of the river. The muddyish water dripped slowly from the golden fur of her chin. The ground was sort of muddy. So she had mud on the bottom of her large paws. She lifted her head from the river, she licked off the water dripping from her chin. She found a Small green tree. She went over to it and lied under it. The tree provided a nice cool shade away from the stirring hot sun.

A young lion had dared approached him. Luckily for the cub, Jabol had not been in a killing mood nor did he want to waste valuable time cleaning his fur from gore. Jabol was constantly on the move, far away from lion prides and their dominant males. Far from what life did invade his privacy. Frankly, this lion has had enough from males. The African sun glared down on his spiked sun tanned mane, whisking in time with the light breezes that toyed with his fur. Baring his fangs in a brief growl, he reminded himself not to waste precious energy fighting off an eternal foe, and to focus on the tasks lying ahead. Let the sun eat down upon him. The searing warmth drove him towards the river, urging on a demanding thirst. There, perhaps the cool waters would satisfy him until her reached more golden pastures, where he would be free to roam without the threat of lions to question his nomadic authority. The only thing that bowed down to his might seemed to be only the prey he half felled, or the gnats who bit at his skin. Up ahead he spotted the river, and with this sense of hope, his pace quickened.
Jabol leaned back into a leisurely trot, mane billowing out behind him and surrounding his head in a blazing gold crown. In this land, he was a king, but in the eyes of pride living males, he was nothing. Nothing besides a threat to their existence. Upon reached the murky river, his paws fell slower, wary of the waters edge where there were sure to be crocodiles. With a silent sneer, he cautiously approached the mute waters, dipping his massive head down passed his chin, lapping the refreshing liquid and forcing it down his dry throat. When he was finished and his thirst quenched, his rose to his full height once more, nostrils wavering in the wind. A toothy grin creased his muzzle when the scent of lioness greeted him. It had been long since a female graced his presence, but was he in a decent mood to be in the presence of a lady? Curious now, Jabol lifted his head and scanned the surrounding brush any signs of the lioness. Soon his golden orb fell upon her. She had rooted herself under the shelter of a nearby tree, using the shade as a temporary lift from the heat of the day. Shaking his head of the water that clung to his chin hair, he turned from her, padding parallel to the riverbank, eye flickering towards the lioness as his blind eye stared on in wonder. First, she needed to spot him among the reeds, though he was sure that she could smell him by now.

The nice breeze from the shad of the tree caressed her body. The sun was still hi into the blue sky scorching over the african plains. The gnats biting at her behind. She swatted her tail at them making them come off. She raised up deciding to walk again to drive the pests away. She stepped into the sunlight making her body heat up right away. Then she noticed a new smell. Her noise twitched at the sent of the mystirious smell. It was the smell of a lion in the surrounding area. She started to scan the area with her eyes. Her sapphire colored eyes spotted something. It was a male lion just as she had smelt. The male was walking along the river bank. She was shocked to see a male lion out here all alone. She padded over to him with caution. Not knowing how he would react to her presence, she stayed far enough away just so they could communicate. He was quit handsome. He was just the kind of lion she was searching for. He looked strong and musular. Around this time of the year she was in heat. He probably had sensed her that way she thought. She was to nervous to speak not knowing if he was a threat or not. She sat where she was watching the lion walking and starring at her.

Jabol sensed the lioness move towards him, but for the meanwhile, the male already displayed an aura of hesitance. What if this lioness was part of a Pride, a place where surely the leading male wouldn’t hesitate to drive him back into the wilderness. Perhaps he had been wrong about this whole place, thinking that maybe, just maybe, he lost his sense of direction and trod upon Pride lands. Jabol bit back a growl, not trusting himself to speak to her just yet. To the response of her cautious approach, his response was simple. Leaning his massive being back, he withdrew his current stance, taking a single step back. A lone nomad was one thing to face, but a pride of lions was a whole different matter. He shook his head, mane flying out behind him. He was confident though, that even if a pride was introduced to this scene, he would be out of the area faster than this lioness could catch up with him. One thing threw off his accusation. If she was sheltered within a pride, then wouldn’t the dominant male already have mated with her by now? Her scent was flooding his nostrils, welcoming her scent within. Fire burned around his senses, welcoming the warmth of said aroma. But like all thing, patience was a virtue.
He studied her movement, weaving back and forth before him as if she was debating whether or not the lion before her was a threat to her existence. Tension was starting to built up upon the walls that separated them in this silence, but at that moment, words left his lips in a anxious greeting. ”Why is a young lioness like you alone? Shouldn’t you be with your pride?” He grunted lightly, swiping a raspy tongue over his maw. He was reluctant to even talk to her in the first place and would have preferred he drive her from his sight, but her current predicament was captivating to him. It held a sense that she did not belong in this world, much like he sure should have never been brought forth from it. He rocked his paws against the soaked ground, enjoying the coolness it left on the palm of his large paws. His claws were unsheathed, but merely as a precautionary measure or signaling to the female that he would act on his own will and very free to attack her if he so willed. His golden optics smoldered into her, waiting for her voice to escape her throat and address him in return. The sun glinted off his bared fangs like sharpened daggers, ears moving back and forth in a fluidic motion to finally stop angled against his skull. At least…He thought with a sneer, It isn’t a male.

She heard the lion speak. She fixed her Sapphire eyes onto his eyes. She padded over to him just a little more but not to much. She still had droughts weather he would try to attack her or not. The hot and unforgiving sun shined off of her golden coat. The desert went on for miles, there wasn't another lion or lioness there. She licked her lips moisturizing then so they wouldn't be dry. "I'm alone because i want to be, i belong to no pride." She said with her head raised up high with confidence in her voice. She stretched out in front of him with her paws and upper body going to wards the ground while her butt and tail where in the air. She let out a quite "yawn." She rose back up again and starred at the male lion. She was waiting for a response for her answer patiently. She was getting warmer and warmer do to the blazing sun. Actually she was looking for a mate she just wasn't acting like it but she was in heat and she knew he could tell.

His first reaction to her continuous approach was a single, echoing snarl, baring fangs glinting like ivory daggers. She still had no idea that such closeness would trigger a dominating response from him. He wasn’t hesitant by showing aggressiveness, but he would rather not display such behavior in front of a lioness, much less a lioness alone to fend for herself. He would much rather charm her into subtle submission than get rough, but he still awaited her response from his earlier question. If she was with a pride, flirting would be too risky, even harmless banter between each other. Jabol had little intension of solidifying any sort of relationship with her, though company was company and sometimes living alone ate at your insides until nothing was left but a dried out husk. When finally she did speak, he leaned into his stance, suddenly shifting his previous demeanor. So she was alone after all, so that meant that she was free from any sort of other lions. Feeling a familiar smirk on his lips, he stepped forward, the padding underneath his muddy paws coated in slickness. He appeared more regal then as he took a confident step forward.
His nose touched hers in a brief moment before he returned to his place, a few steps in front of her. Keen muscles rippled under a pelt of gold, legs like lean trucks of trees, supporting an awe inspiring figure as he showed off his mane to her. Like any male, he was proud of the way his mane rested around his head, displaying how the sun’s rays caught on his pelt and made the warmth sear his flesh with satisfaction. ”Likewise. I belong to know pride either.” He chuckled silently, a sound like a rumble of soft thunder. ”Seems we lucked out.” He slumped onto the ground a few paces away, where he could view the female plainly and without difficulties. His paws lay spread out in front of him, claws extracting and contracting. Now, his posture was casual, yet still alert for any sort of creature that might come to disturb or harm him. He was sure that this female could fend for herself if she had spent as much time as she claimed alone. His bristled tail, flickered back and forth in a somewhat lethargic nature, warding off the bugs that threatened to land on his pelt. Jabol listened to the calming sound of the water, but like so many things in life, it could be easily broken.

She starred at him. Watching him, he was flirty yet playful. She was happy to know that he wasn't a threat. She watched as he showed off his mane and displayed his muscles to wards her. He was the most handsome lion she had seen yet. He was strong no dought about that. When his nose touched hers, her checks started to heat up slightly she was blushing. She was trying hard not to show he submissive side. She felt like a inch away from going into complete submission. She was attracted to him anybody could tell. "Yeh i guess we did, ah...by the way whats your name? Mines kirara." She replied with a grin on her face and blushing a little. By around this time the hot blazing sun was setting on the desert. It was getting late, the sun had turned orange rather than the bight yellow it was during the daytime. She hadn't came across another lion or lioness for almost half a year now. It was good to have some company there. His deep voice felt like it was teasing her.

It was enjoyable now since he hadn’t seen an available lioness for a long time. The change came instantly inside of him, but he humored the feeling with a feinting grin, slipping on the expression for size. Deciding that he’d rather not make a fool of himself, he reserved himself for conversation that only appeared necessary or when it demanded an answer. As he felt the heat resonating from her flesh like a glare of sunlight, he knew that he struck home. What a charmer he had been, a cheeky cobra waiting to spring upon prey unaware of his sinister intensions. The sky above him was clear, but a few sparse clouds had begun to form with little hope of actual precipitation. Jabol would just have to wait for the rains to come this year. Soon the prey would return to the savanna and his stomach would cease its persistent growling. His eyes scanned the landscape ahead, gazing golden orbs behind her actual frame, standing casually in front of him as she smiled in his direction. H caught that look of admiration inside those crystal blue eyes and did not bother to let her down by looking away from them. Boldly, he held her gaze for as long as she stared inside his. This was all a fun game to the large male, but he knew he was the one holding all the pieces and understanding the rules to this face off.
His mind froze as he detected something off into the foliage. A buzzard hobbled passed him a distance away, on the opposite bank of the river, stooping low to catch a drip of water within its crooked beak. Frowning lightly, he almost didn’t hear the lioness speak again and address herself. Shaking his head back to her, he blinked, jaws opening to stifle a yawn. Before she continued, he grunted softly, ”Jabol.” Well, it was only right to give her his name in return, right? There was no harm in exchanging something back. Her name was pretty though, not the most beautiful he had ever seen or heard, but up there on his list. Kiara was a nice name indeed, and certainly not a name to be used for a nomad such as herself. She must have known that he wasn’t used to other lions, but his slight eagerness to learn more about her shone in his sharp golden eyes. She did not need to know anything more about him, where he came from, what he was like. He did not want to have her run off like a scared cub after he was done with her. She was nearly a cub herself, ripe out of her younger years. Things, for the most part, had already started to look promising.

She twitched her tail, gnats were getting annoying. She swatted and keep on swatting her tail till they were gone. She heard something, she turned her head. It was a false alarm it was just a buzzard. She turned her head back to the lion. Apparently he was watching the bird behind her. She starred at him his golden eyes were amazing. She tried so that he couldn't see that she liked him but she had a feeling he already had knew it. She tipped her head up to wards the red-ish sky getting cooler and cooler by the minute since night fall was almost there. She was glade night was coming. It meant that she would not have to bare the hot blazing heat that the day provided. She relaxed some more letting her guard down, she was getting more comfortable around the lion. "Nice name. I love the sunset don't you...." She said smiling still looking up at the Saharan sky. The sunset was amazing it had a nice variety of colors. Red, orange and yellow all beautiful colors. Her golden coat started to let off a glossy shine.

The lioness in front of him seemed intent on staring him down, in a good way. What was with young females, anyway? Well, Jabol wasn’t one to complain about attention from a female, and he wouldn’t want to start either. She was nice enough, healthy looking and obviously strong enough to survive on her own for so long. His ears flickered back, but returned to a laxed pose on the side of his head. Her voice was sweet, like wild honey, but he couldn’t put off the feeling that he needed to move along. There could always be threat around, and he didn’t need a lion tracking him in his paws. Growling lightly to himself, he rose onto his feet, claws flirting with the ground as he lifted a single front foot and placed it behind him a few inches away. As the lioness, Kiara, now was it, spoke of simple things such as the ebbing sunset, he blinked curtly. ”Yes, I suppose. The colors are quite nice.” He said lowly, the very tips of his incisors visible through the white and golden hair of his muzzle. Time was becoming ripe to continue on his travels. A parting gift, however, seemed appropriate. The large lion meandered over to the still female, her eyes glued to the dipping horizon. His tongue swiped over her shoulder momentarily before raising his head to follow her gaze. Another second passed and Jabol padded forward at a leisurely pace, his lean and muscled visage in her vision. Casting his gaze beyond his flowering mane, Jabol spoke again. ” I must leave. It was nice meeting you, Kiara.” He smirked lightly as he grunted our a farewell, half wanting her to come along with her, but he knew that was simpler said then done.

The blazing hot desert had cooled down to content. It now felt like the tree she was under earlier. Except there was nothing covering her. She usually didn't wander around often during the day because it was so hot. She mostly explored the Sahara in the evening and at night. ”Yes, I suppose. The colors are quite nice.” She had heard the kind words of his rolling off of his tounge. He had a deep voice indeed she had noticed it since the time she met him. "yeh." She giggled a little and smiled. She still stared at the sunset. ” I must leave. It was nice meeting you, Kiara.” She turned her head back to him. "Wait can i come with you....If thats ok with you." She started blush really hard then. She had realized just then how much she really liked him. He had her sprung and she wouldn't let nobody tell her different.

At least now, the sun was starting to finally cease its endless glare. Jabol had feared that this day would never end, partially because he waited for it to pass him. The night, he knew, would bring welcoming relief to him as well as so many other creatures in the savanna. The lean limbed male stretched as the dipping sun inched down towards the horizon with a mute yawn, displacing his incisors. It was indeed time for him to pass, but not before hearing the obvious plea of a certain lioness behind him. He turned his head, fractioning out to pinpoint her direct location. He took a moment to actually play back what she had asked from him. Did she think he was that stupid to want a lone female o tag along with him, which could make him a bigger target for lioness craving males? The last thing he wanted to do was watch her get stolen from him went and if the time came, but the wilderness was a lonely place...Perhaps he just assumed that she would make half decent company. ”Come along?” He growled with the slightest hint of mockery.”I don’t see why not.” He turned again from her and padded a few paces away, aware of her presence and awaiting her decision.

Finally the sun set and night came. The night breeze blew across her face. Now she wasn't hot anymore she was very content. The bright stars covered the night sky, it was very romantic. Then she heard the handsome lion speak to her again. "Idon’t see why not.” He replied to her. With a small smile planted onto her face she caught up with him, walking with him side by side. "So where are we going?" She said out of curiousity. Her sapphire eyes starring into his. She flicked her ears, the gnats would not give up on biting her. She let out a small growl at the bother some insects. Her eyes now glowed with a emarld green. Shining into the night. She was greatly impressed by the size of his mane.
