As she walked through the shallowest parts of the channel she lifted her head and glanced around half expecting another tiger to jump out and attack her.
The monkeys hollered as they swung through the trees and the young tigeress wandered through the thick of the forest toward the strong scent of her own mother , she was on her way toward the area that her own mother owned not far from the main stream but suddenly her mother appeared infront of her , her mother's fangs were exposed as she snarled toward the young female. She had probably smelt her daughter's scent as she sprayed around her territory.
She smelt a scent of a male and her tiara tilted toward where she heard a few twigs crack under the weight of some feline. Or so she guessed.

He moved carefully, each paw placed with precision. His ears were raised and he made his way softly, leaves crunching as he placed his weight onto them. The land was a carpet of colours, reds from the flowers, greens from the leaves, and other natural colors forming a natural mosaic. Small specks of dirt from under his paws rose into the air, making him cough and sneeze. Another harsh wind blew, ruffling the once sleek fur and ruffling it.
The lean tiger could smell many scents overlapping each other, carried by the wind. He stopped and stood, oak-brown eyes focused on the ground beneath him, etched into the ground. Kenai looked around him, but he could see no sign of an entrance. So he sat and waited, closing his eyes and listening to the world around him. He began to sink into sleep, colours washing over him like water.
A few leaves fell from the trees, landing on him and swirling in the wind. He found sleep useless, standing back up to press forward. With a grumble he tripped and fell, skidding slightly on the dirt-floor. Regaining his balance, the male headed forward until a peculiar sight caught his eyes.
A lone female, wading in the waters of the channel.
Snorting, he grunted lowly, hoping to catch her attention. But rather, he mischieviously took a leap to land with a big SPLASH in front of her, a devious smirk curling his lips.

She cast her gaze to here the grunt erupted from and saw a rather large male but then he landed in the water with a rather large splash and she she checked him over and as she saw the devious smirk on and pondered why he had the smirk on his maw. She smiled to him , " Well hello " she said her tone slightly flirtatious but otherwise just it was just her normal soft lyrics. She stayed still with her banner swaying gently in the water.
Her eyes flickered away form him and toward the thick forest as she thought she had heard something but it turned out to be a monkey , it sat there on the branch watching them both with curious eyes and in turn Kacy gave a roar to try scare it away and it took a few careful steps backward before hollering at her. She sighed and glanced back to the male that stood infront of her , " My name's Kacy what's yours ?" She asked her attention now fully on him once more.
Occ: Sorry it's short ...

Well, that wasn't the reaction a mischievious Kenai was looking for. Maybe a swat at his face or a disapproving growl. Something of the like. Females normally didn't like rambunctious behavior like that, but this one seemed a bit more tolerant. She had even greeted him with a gentle hello, a gentle tone lacing her voice. After he allowed her greeting to end, he lowered his head to lap up some of that precious liquid.
He pulled his head back as she roared, just barely caughting the sight of the monkey she had scared off. His stomach grumbled lowly at the tasty-looking morsel, but nothing could have been done about it now. It was off headed to the safe haven in its trees. Kenai looked back at the female at her inquiry. "Kenai."

Kacy heard his name and repeated it to herself his name would now roll off her tongue easily , K- e- n- a- i She smiled to herself her own name sarted with a K and so did his so if another wanted to adress them together then they could say kk or rather KayKay or just the simple letter ... Kacy shook her cranium and mantally ordered her thoughts to be orderly once more.
As she looked back to him and her thoughts were off of his name she thought about food and then that brought her back to the monkey that she had scared off and she was curious as to why she had done that ... she heard a noise and glanced to see that th male had returned with some females and a baby. The mother of the single baby was in a lower branch than the male and she had a good grip on the babie's tail or so it seemed. In an instant the baby's shreik could be heard as it fell from the tree and Kacy suddenly turned and began to run towards it not wanting to miss such an easy meal.

She moved quickly.
The little monkey had fallen from its mother's protective grasp. It was now hurdling towards the channel, and Kacy was leaping towards it. The shriek rattled his mind, and for a moment, Kenai saw an image flash through his mind. His stillborn brother. Just born into the world, but with the inability to draw breath. He didn't have a chance at life, he had lost so early in the game. "No, wait!" Kenai called after her frantically, chasing up behind her.
He managed to lift a limb up to bring down on her back, hoping to slow her down. Just because his brother didn't have a chance at life didn't mean the baby monkey shouldn't. Easy meal or not. The little creature hit the water with a small 'plunk', floating down the channel helplessly. Somewhere near the bank, it's father scooped it up and quickly ran away with it in his arms.
So much for an easy meal. But Kenai's heart got the better of him. "I'll find you something bigger to eat." he grumbled, feeling a bit embaressed that he had decided to leave the small being alone when his stomach could have been currently filled.
ooC:// I hope you don't mind I did that. D=
